Summer Internship 2020

K·Coe Isom interns are a diverse group of talented individuals beginning their journey of discovery in a multi-service consulting firm. If selected, you will gain broad business exposure in a challenging environment where the primary rewards are the opportunity to learn and apply your education to real-life situations. This is a paid position, and successful applicants will have the chance to have impact right away, as they work with associates, senior associates, managers, principals and clients.

Summer interns gain real-world public accounting experience while assisting with financial statement preparation, auditing, general accounting and write-up work, as well as special projects. You will also help with preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
 
Fall 2019, we will be interviewing and hiring on campuses for 2020 paid internship openings available in CaliforniaColoradoIndiana, and Kansas locations. Interns are often considered for full time job offers post-graduation, following successful completion of their internship.


Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:
 
Throughout your time as an intern, you’ll learn, be challenged and will grow at an incredible pace. In addition to hands-on experience, our internship program will teach you the diverse skills you need to succeed as a leader in business. As a K·Coe Isom intern, you will not only get a chance to make an impact right away, but no two days will be exactly alike. Your experience and maturity will allow you to work on projects where you will be able to apply your academic knowledge, participate in client meetings and develop new skills. You’ll have the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with your intern peers and you’ll build other relationships that will help position you for the next stage of your career.




Qualifications


What you’ll need for this position:
 
  • Applicants should be pursuing a major in accounting
  • Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Availability to relocate to the internship location. We are happy to assist you in finding a place to live, if that’s a need.
  • Ability to gain the trust of others by being forthright and honest in all interactions with others
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to remain flexible amid changing work priorities and project scope
  • Ability to learn new technology tools and interpret data efficiently and accurately
